On October 23, tourist craftworks and souvenirs with profound ethnic
characteristics were on display. From October 21 to 23, the 2005 Silk
Road -- Xinjiang International Tourism Expo was held at the Xinjiang
Hualing New International Exhibition Center in Urumqi, showing tourist
resorts, tourist craftworks, hotels, travel agencies, travel equipment
with Xinjiang's local features and domestic hotel facilities and
necessities as well as tourism vehicles.
