"Human walls" ensured safety in lantern fair

In an effort to guarantee the order and safety of hundreds of thousands
of people who appreciated lanterns and beautiful views in the Confucius
Temple on Feb. 12, when this year's traditional Chinese Lantern Festival
fell, Nanjing organized 4,000-odd policemen to form "two-way passages"
with "human walls" to lead the visitors to avoid potential accidents
which might result from disorderliness.
