Archeologists of Jinan City were carefully unearthing a newly discovered
Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD) tile kiln on March 23. A rare Han Dynasty tile
kiln was found at the construction site of the Tangye New Town in east
Jinan five days ago. According to staff from the Jinan Institute of
Archeology, the intact structure of the ancient tile kiln shows the level
of ceramics in the Han Dynasty. Huge tiles of that dynasty were also
unearthed.
