Rare stone auction in Jiangsu

On July 17th, Jiangsu held its largest ever rare stone auction in its
capital city Nanjing. 135 pieces of rare stones of more than ten types,
including fossil wood, macrofossil, Lingbi stone (produced in Anhui's
Lingbi County), Qixia stone, Taihu stone (produced along the Taihu Lake),
Gobi stone (produced in Inner Mongolia's Gobi desert), water-rushed stone
and mineral crystal, were displayed at the auction. The prices ranged
from several hundred yuan to 800,000 yuan, with marked price totaling
over 1.2 million yuan.
