Ganzhou's unique folk custom "carry stories"

Sept. 15 was the fair day of Chengjiang Town in Xunwu County of Jiangxi's
Ganzhou City. Local farmers held the folk custom activity "carry stories"
to celebrate the mid-autumn festival, singing and dancing all the way. It
was an important celebrative folk custom activity in the county. Usually
some young children below 8 years old are selected to act figures in
myths, legendary stories, classic operas and contemporary stories, and
some strong men will carry the children around villages for a fun tour.
