Jinan archeologists entered a well-preserved underground tomb discovered
at Guodian Town in east suburb of Jinan City for study on Oct. 26. On the
day, construction workers who were building a road found this tomb. 11
frescos inside the tomb were intact and clear-cut, depicting plum
blossoms, chrysanthemum, lotus, pine trees, etc. According to
archeologists, this tomb for an ordinary person in the Qing Dynasty
(1616-1911AD) reflects the typical folk funeral culture at that time.
